Who said metal can’t be pop music? I have been to several Fear Factory shows,
and the last one was the worst. Hardly
anyone was dancin’. Fear Factory has
been among my favorite metal bands since 8th grade, when I first
heard their song Scapegoat, which is off their first album. In my opinion, Resurrection is the best song
on the album it is on, which I am having difficulty remembering the name of
now. Fear Factory is a great band for
drummers to study, and vocalists to study.
For example, in order to be the Fear Factory vocalist, you have to be
able to switch from dinosaur like deep throat growls, and melodically sung
vocals.
