**** Imaginary Girl… by Liz Solomon – Not What I Usually Listen to, but Nevertheless a Good Effort

I have given up grieving when a band a like doesn’t get popular.  Alright, so Liz Solomon never made it, but she has a good voice and if told someone unknowing that she had sold millions of albums, after listening to this album, I would not expect to hear surprise from them.  That’s the music biz.  Sometimes some folk never make it big that are totally deserving.
One of the things I want to convey to my son as someone who is experienced in music is that not everything that is good gets popular.  I say that with my 4 year old son at my feet, while he sits enjoying the music.
This is definitely bubble gum chewing pop music.  Yeah, though it is never too late, it would appear that Liz Solomon just wasn’t lucky when show business was looking for pop stars.  It wasn’t for lack of good looks either.  Really, it is nothing more than luck.  I know far too many good musicians that never made it big, (and by big I would describe that as achieving national record distribution.)
While this isn’t what I listen to, Liz Solomon’s effort here seems to be what most folks want to listen to.
