2:1 At the 5^th fret, on the 6^th string, the fattest string, chromatically ascend for notes. When you ascend 4 chromatic notes from the 5^th fret, the fret you with end on is the 8^th fret.

2:2 When ascending from the 5^th fret chromatically, the notes using standard tuning are A, #A, B, and C.

2:3 First, when doing this pattern use all down strokes when you pick the notes.
